The work force output for some mining sites was very low according to our analytics. By tracking various metrics for each work center and site, and by making it a part of our reporting structures, we were able to improve the over all portfolio work force performace as shown below.

The left hand side is each site average work orders per person per day vs average logged hours per person.
The right was acheived after 6 months of running our analytics.
Work orders mean per person improved from 2.2 to 4.3 wpork orders per day
Productive Hours per person improved from 3.7 to 6.0 hours per shift
That is significant improcement provided that the work force is in hundreds per site.
